Cavalancia Orthodontics Community Involvement
At Cavalancia Orthodontics, we believe in going the extra mile for our patients, their families and the community. We are proud to be an Indiana and Johnstown orthodontist and to provide top-quality orthodontic services. We are also proud to do more whenever we can. Our team is committed to supporting local organizations and initiatives that benefit our community.
With braces, invisible aligners and other orthodontic treatments, we have helped many patients achieve healthier and more beautiful smiles. Through our community involvement efforts, we strive to bring happiness and smiles to people’s lives in other ways. Doing so is a meaningful and favored tradition among our doctors and staff.
Our support includes initiatives such as youth sports, after school activities as well as local and international charities. These organizations are doing wonderful things for the people of Indiana, Johnstown and Pennsylvania. We are honored to be able to commit our time and to provide financial support to so many important causes that benefit so many lives.
We operate two offices, one in Indiana, PA and one in Johnstown, PA. Our teams in both offices feel very strong connections to the areas they live and work in. We are excited to continue to serve the people of both of the communities and to find ways to give back. Below are some of the organizations we currently and have previously supported.
Community Support Organizations and Projects
ICAAP (Indiana County Community Action Program) - Power Pack was developed to meet the weekend nutritional needs of children who experience food insecurity in Indiana County. The program serves nearly 800 eligible children in 12 Indiana County Elementary Schools on a weekly basis during the school year.
Literacy Links for Little Ones - Non-Profit Organization dedicated promoting early childhood literacy. It provides parents with the information on long-term benefits of reading aloud to children.
Chevy Chase Community Center - Summer Programs 2018. Chevy Case Community Center is a non-profit organization that provides a venue for community members and offers support and services to assist residents who live in poverty by ensuring they have access to vital human services, food, education and recreation programs that improve their quality of life and enhance the community.
Arbutus Park Retirement Community (Johnstown) - Sponsored The Great Pumpkin Fest & Fun Walk - Funds were given to the Arbutus Benevolent Care Fund, which provides financial support for senior residents who have exhausted their financial resources but continue to need medical care.
The Care Center - Sponsored Fundraiser- The Care Center is a non-profit corporation dedicated to improving the lives of abused, neglected and at risk children and their families through the Children’s Advocacy Center. It supports the identification, prevention and intervention of child abuse and neglect.
